Known as the "Land of Abundance," Chengdu has been a cultural and economic hub for over 2,000 years. The city is famous for its relaxed lifestyle, spicy cuisine, and, of course, its adorable giant pandas. Itinerary Summary

Day 1: City Tour

Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, known as the "Land of Abundance," Chengdu has been a cultural and economic hub for over 2,000 years. The city is famous for its relaxed lifestyle, spicy cuisine, and, of course, its adorable giant pandas. Chengdu is also recognized as a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, making it a paradise for food lovers.


Day 2: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding &  Sanxingdui Ruins

The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, located in the northern suburbs of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a world-renowned facility dedicated to the conservation and breeding of giant pandas. Established in 1987, the base has become a leading center for panda research, breeding, and public education. It spans over 100 hectares and provides a naturalistic habitat for over 100 giant pandas, as well as other endangered species such as red pandas and black-necked cranes.


The Sanxingdui Ruins, located in Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, are one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. The site, which dates back over 3,000 years, was once the center of the ancient Shu Kingdom. The ruins were discovered in the 1920s, and subsequent excavations have unearthed a wealth of artifacts that have reshaped our understanding of ancient Chinese civilization.


Day 3: Dujiang Yan

Dujiangyan, located in the Sichuan Province of China, is a remarkable ancient irrigation system and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built over 2,200 years ago during the Qin Dynasty, it is one of the oldest and most well-preserved water management projects in the world. The system was designed by the engineer Li Bing and his son to control the flooding of the Min River and to provide a stable water supply for agriculture in the Chengdu Plain.


Day 4 - 5: Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area

Jiuzhaigou Valley, located in the northern part of Sichuan Province, China, is a breathtakingly beautiful nature reserve and national park. Known for its stunning landscapes, crystal-clear lakes, multi-tiered waterfalls, and rich biodiversity, Jiuzhaigou is often referred to as a "fairyland on earth." It was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 and a World Biosphere Reserve in 1997.
